Mission
Jesus authorised His disciples to spread His Gospel all over the world. Christians wish to pass on the good news of God’s love. Therefore, they seek to give other people the chance to experience the freedom of Christian faith, too.
Mission does not mean forced conversion but bearing witness and serving one’s fellow man. This task applies world-wide as well as locally. Missionary activity appears in mission departments and, just as much, in the work of the local church communities.
